The Revenge Club is available on Paramount Plus and the dark comedy thriller features Line of Duty icon Martin Compston as Calum - a dad navigating turbulent waters in his personal life.
The programme, which draws inspiration from J.D.Pennington's novel The Othello Club, centres on six divorce support group members who develop an unexpected connection.
The thriller features an impressive ensemble cast, including Peaky Blinders star Aimee-Ffion Edwards, My Mad Fat Diary's Sharon Rooney and Shetland favourite Douglas Henshall. Speaking exclusively to Reach titles, Line of Duty's Martin Compston discussed the stellar cast and revealed which colleagues he was most eager to collaborate with.
"Sharon and Amy," he revealed. "Sharon is a Scottish legend but she's just so funny. Like any time I have seen her in anything, it's like she's got precision timing and it's wonderful to see."
"She can make me laugh with a raise of an eyebrow or just a little look, she genuinely makes me giggle.
"Amy, I have just been a fan of for a long time, she's a wonderful actor and the relationship with Calum and Emily, I thought we would have a real opportunity to try and do something special in this.
"You have got these two people in the middle of all this chaos, you don't know if it's love or seduction because there's a hell of a lot of wild feelings flying around.
"Getting to play that with someone you knew would be giving it their all was brilliant."
He also spoke about collaborating with fellow Scottish actor Douglas Henshall, who is barely recognisable in his portrayal of Steve.
"I think myself and Dougie are quite similar in terms of, we try little things but it's really about playing the truth of it.
"Like he is really living in a caravan stuck outside his ex-wife's house and it's f*****g depressing, but it's really funny, and he's so committed to it and so beautiful.
"I think because he is so serious...there's one bit where he [is asked] 'What's your name?' and he says 'Steven, with a v', it's just the way he says it.
"It's needless, nobody would care, but the way he does it and because he commits to it, it's lovely. He's very funny in this."
The cast also features Meera Syal as Rita Eggleston, Chaneil Kular as Tej Jogia and Amit Shah as Malcolm Ray.
