Celebrity couples with taller women
For many years now, the long, tall woman has been worshipped, with the entire category of models becoming extremely sought-after, so it's strange that some people still think it's weird for a woman to date a shorter man. But in these modern times, even superhero men can be short and swept off their feet by their leading ladies, as on- and off-screen couple Tom Holland and Zendaya are proving. The 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' co-stars appeared on the 'Graham Norton Show' on December 3 and recounted the hilarious story about how their height difference made a stunt particularly difficult. Zendaya explained that the stunt simulates the pair landing on a bridge and is supposed to finish with Holland gently placing her down, but due to her longer legs, "I would land before him," she told the host. Holland added, "And I'm the superhero, I'm supposed to look cool. And I would land and my feet would swing from underneath me and then she would catch me." The pair then got up and demonstrated, with Holland resting a leg in Zendaya's arm. "You were actually very lovely about it," the 'Dune' actress quipped. "You would be like ‘Oh my gosh, thank you.'" And Holland replied, "It's so nice to be caught for a change!" In Hollywood, there are plenty of women who measure taller than their significant others—and they look good doing it. Tom Holland: The making of Hollywood's modern leading man
For most people, Tom Holland seemed to appear out of nowhere in one of the most coveted superhero roles of all time. But little do most people know, the young actor has shown a wealth of promise and charisma since before he even started high school! From his ballet and theater career to becoming one of the world’s most valuable stars, and now branching out into a whole new chapter of his career, Holland has shown he is wise beyond his years, more self-aware than probably any Hollywood star there is, and he is just getting started. Hot off his 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' press tour, the actor has revealed that he'll be trading his superhero suit for dancing shoes to portray legendary dancer, singer, and choreographer Fred Astaire in a new biopic from Sony. “The script came in a week ago," Holland told the AP on December 5. "I haven’t read it yet. They haven’t given it to me. I know Amy Pascal has the script. She Facetimed me earlier when I was in the bath and we had a lovely Facetime," he laughed. "But I will be playing Fred Astaire.” They are some enormous shoes to fill, but as you'll see in this gallery, the choice of Tom Holland is actually quite a strong one.
