KATY PERRY TO LIGHT UP ICONIC VENUE IN FIRST DUBLIN GIG SINCE 2011

Katy Perry is set to headline Malahide Castle in Dublin next summer.

The iconic pop star will perform at the venue on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

Tickets for the gig will go on general sale on Friday, November 14, but both the MCD and artist presales start on Wednesday at 9am.

The last time Katy Perry played in Dublin was back in 2011 as part of her California Dreams Tour at The O2 Arena.

However, she was in Ireland last month when she brought her Lifetimes Tour to the SSE Arena in Belfast.

Katy recently released her new single Bandaids, which explores themes of heartbreak and the end of a relationship.

The 41-year-old separated with Orlando Bloom earlier this year after nine years together.

Following the single’s release, Katy took to Instagram to post an emotional message in which she thanked fans for their support.

She wrote: ‘Thank you for the love on bandaids.

‘(To be honest), I struggled for months with the idea of putting this song out… even after all these years it can be scary to be vulnerable… but hopefully the lyrics of this song resonate with someone going through what I have been through and maybe they won’t feel so alone and will find the strength to keep going like I have.’

Tickets for the Malahide Castle show are set to cost between €69.90 and €79.90, subject to Ticketmaster charges.

Since her 2008 Capitol Records debut, One of the Boys, Katy has amassed over 115billion streams alongside worldwide sales of more than 70million adjusted albums and 143million tracks.

She is the biggest-selling female artist in Capitol history and the first-ever Capitol artist to achieve 10 million RIAA-certified units for a single.

She was also the first artist in RIAA history to earn three Diamond singles, for Firework, Dark Horse, and Roar, and now has a total of seven Diamond-certified titles across singles and albums.

Katy currently has over 57million monthly Spotify listeners and over 30million followers.
