The award-winning Mean Girls musical is coming to Bournemouth Pavilion.
Based on the popular 2004 film, the musical will be in town for one week only from Monday, June 1 to Saturday, June 6, 2026.
The production, known for its razor-sharp wit, iconic characters and catchy songs, is fresh from its successful stint on Broadway and the West End.
It scooped the "Best New Musical" award at the 2025 WhatsOnStage Awards.
The storyline, based on the film, centres on North Shore High's queen bee Regina and her clique, The Plastics.
Home-schooled Cady Heron, who believes she knows about survival of the fittest, soon learns the hard way that high school is a different kind of jungle.
Mean Girls had its world premiere in 2017 at the National Theatre in Washington, D.C.
It then had its Broadway debut in April 2018 at the August Wilson Theatre, where it was met with rave reviews.
A successful US tour followed in 2019, with a second tour more recently completed.
Tickets for the Bournemouth shows will go on sale on Friday, July 4.
Fans of the film and musical theatre are encouraged to get their tickets.
