BRYAN CRANSTON TELLS GQ HE'S READY FOR MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE REBOOT

Bryan Cranston revealed that he's ready for a Malcolm In The Middle reboot after the beloved family sitcom aired its last episode 17 years ago on Fox.

The 67-year-old actor opened up to GQ in an article published on Thursday about his desire to return to the role of family father Hal that he portrayed on the show from January 2000 until its final episode on May 14, 2006.

'I'm curious about that family 20 years later,' Cranston admitted.

'What happened to them? Where are they? What are the kids doing? They're grown men now,' he added.

Malcolm In The Middle starred Frankie Muniz, 37, as the title character and also featured Jane Kaczmarek, 67, as mother Lois and Christopher Kennedy Masterson, Justin Berfield and Erik Per Sullivan as Malcolm's brothers.

The show was notable for its portrayal of 2000s youth culture and received widespread acclaim from critics as well as a Peabody Award, seven Emmy Awards and seven Golden Globe nominations.

Cranston in the British GQ interview also opened up about his marriage to wife Robin Dearden, 69, revealing they started therapy before getting married.

The Breaking Bad star additionally discussed his work and home life, including being godfather to his co-star Aaron Paul's son Ryden, 14 months.

Cranston also disclosed plans to shut down his production company and sell his half of mezcal business Dos Hombres, with a desire to retire in 2026 and move to a foreign country for at least six months with wife Robin.

He said: 'I want to change the paradigm once again. For the last 24 years, Robin has led her life holding onto my tail.

'She's been the plus one, she's been the wife of a celebrity. She's had to pivot and adjust her life based on mine.

Known for playing Walter White in Emmy Award winning TV series Breaking Bad, Cranston became close with co-star Aaron Paul on set and is godfather to his son.

He said his jaws hurt from smiling, adding that he loves to play with and hold his godson.

In May, Cranston appeared at Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of Wes Anderson film Asteroid City, in which Bryan stars.
