SAMANTHA JADE DOESN'T LOOK LIKE THIS ANYMORE! SINGER UNRECOGNISABLE IN NEW STAGE SHOW

Samantha Jade looked unrecognisable on Thursday as she took the stage in Sydney for the title role of Pretty Woman: The Musical.

The 38-year-old X-Factor winner's trademark blonde locks were nowhere to be seen as she belted out tunes for the hit stage show which is based on the 1990 hit film.

Adopting the brunette 'big hair' look made famous by Julia Roberts in the original movie, Samantha looked stunning in her all-white stage costume.

The flattering outfit consisted of a jacket - with '90s 'big shoulders' - matching pants, and a low-cut blouse.

Samantha wowed fans as she performed a dance number alongside her co-star Ben Hall.

Debuting on Broadway in 2018, Pretty Woman The Musical has already played to sell-out audiences in the UK and Europe.

The musical follows the plot of the original rom-com, which sees a wealthy Beverly Hills mogul, Edward (played by Ben Hall on stage) fall in love with Samantha's character, Vivian.

The music and lyrics were written for the stage show by '80s rocker Bryan Adams alongside Jim Vallance.

Samantha recently revealed that the Pretty Woman film had a special connection for her and her late mother, Jacqueline Gibbs, who died of cancer in 2014.

'I love the movie. I always have. I always used to watch it with my mum,' Samantha told The Scoop back in September.

She continued:  'We would watch these couple of films, and Pretty Woman was always number one on the list.

'And last year, it was the 10-year anniversary of her passing. And so I watched that movie a lot, just because it made me feel close to her.

'Then I got this call to maybe audition for the musical, and I thought, You know what? It feels like a stars aligning thing. So I thought I’d just go in and see. I didn’t expect to get it. But I did.'

It comes after Samantha recently revealed the reason why she repeatedly refused to appear on Dancing With The Stars - before finally changing her mind.

The singer, back in 2024, told Yahoo Lifestyle she had declined the offer 'multiple times' because she was 'scared'.

'I think they asked me last November and I was kind of like, "Oh, I'm not sure" again and then took ages to say yes,' she admitted.

'And my manager was like, "What is it? What are you scared of? What is the thing?". I think I was like, "Oh no, I won't be good at it, it'll be too hard".'

'[I was] putting it in that basket of the "too hard" thing. And then I was like, why am I doing that? Like, how fun to learn a new skill as well?'

Samantha said she finally agreed to do something outside of her comfort zone and joined the show for last year's season.

She shot to fame in 2012 when she won the fourth season of The X-Factor Australia.
