What is Film Club about?

At the heart of Film Club is the story of two movie-loving friends, Tom and Evie, who share a deep bond over their weekly film club meetings. Over time, their unspoken feelings for each other grow, adding an emotional undercurrent to their friendship.

However, when Tom announces that he is moving away for work, Evie is left with only a short period of time to confront her emotions and confess how she truly feels before he potentially slips away forever and she misses her chance.

The series seems to be a heartfelt and relatable exploration of love, friendship, and missed opportunities. Beyond the central romance, Film Club will also delve into the deeper themes of connection, nostalgia, and the unique way films bring people together.
