Grey's Anatomy actress Kelly McCreary has come to the end of her journey as Dr Maggie Pierce.
Having joined the medical drama's cast nine years ago as Meredith Grey's (played by the recently-departed Ellen Pompeo) half-sister, McCreary also took the opportunity to appear in Grey's spin-off Station 19 for four episodes.
In a statement, she expressed her gratitude for the role of a lifetime, sharing (via Deadline): "After nine seasons, I am saying goodbye to Maggie Pierce and her Grey Sloan family. It has been a tremendous honour to be a part of such a legendary television institution as Grey's Anatomy.
