NETFLIX SHARES HUGE UPDATE FOR NEW SEASON OF HIT ADAPTATION

Devotees of Netflix's My Life With the Walter Boys have reason to rejoice as the streaming giant has delivered a significant and 'official' update about the third series.

The programme is a coming-of-age drama adapted from Ali Novak's 2014 novel bearing the same title.

The storyline centres on recently bereaved Jackie Howard, a teenager from Manhattan who moves to rural Colorado after being welcomed by the Walters, a household comprising seven sons and one daughter.

The show has become a favourite amongst Netflix viewers, and now the platform has revealed a crucial development.

Through a statement on their official social media channel, they announced: "This is an official PSA that Walter Boys S3 has wrapped!"

Production had been taking place in Canada, but now filming is one stage nearer to completion. Furthermore, three fresh cast additions have been confirmed for the forthcoming series on the Tudum website.

Naveen Paddock will feature as Eliot. Attractive and charismatic with a touch of New York refinement, Eliot serves as Uncle Richard's fresh intern.

His appearance in Silver Falls places Jackie in a conflict between her former existence and her current one. Meanwhile, Erin Karpluk assumes the character of Hannah, George's wandering sister and mum to Isaac and Lee.

Hannah embodies a free-spirited nature and abandoned her boys to reside with the Walters before departing for mysterious reasons.

Her unexpected arrival at the doorstep after a thousand days means she faces considerable relationship repairs ahead.

Viewers are anxiously anticipating additional episodes following the dramatic cliffhanger that concluded season two's finale, leaving numerous unanswered questions.

As the fresh season approaches, showrunner, creator, and executive producer Melanie Halsall has discussed her hopes for future developments.

In conversation with Tudum, she admitted: "It was a pretty big revelation at the end of Season 2, and we can't just ignore that. She also can't keep bouncing between two boys. How we tackle that will be a really interesting challenge, and I'm looking forward to that."
