NICOLA STURGEON LEFT 'MORTIFIED' WITHIN SECONDS OF ITV LOOSE WOMEN APPEARANCE
Nicola Sturgeon appeared on Monday's episode (March 20) of Loose Women and was instantly left 'mortified'.
The First Minister of Scotland joined panelists Ruth Langsford, Coleen Nolan, Gloria Hunniford, and Janet Street-Porter for her first live television appearance since announcing that she is stepping down.
Before Ruth welcomed Nicola into the studio, a video clip was shown of the moment she resigned from her role as the First Minister of Scotland last month.
Nicola then joined the Loose Women panel and sat between Coleen and Janet. She wore a bright red suit and matching shoes for her appearance on the ITV lunchtime show but was left 'mortified' after realising she was wearing the same outfit as she did for her resignation speech.
As she took her spot, Nicola said: "I'm mortified by the way." Ruth replied: "You're mortified?".
Nicola added: "I'm utterly mortified, well was watching that clip from my resignation speech and I'm wearing the same jacket today", before she started laughing.
Jane then chimed in with: "Nicola. I turned around and saw you and said she's got the same jacket on."
"Have I got time to go and change", Nicola then joked, before the panel said "No", with Ruth adding: "We like recycling."
Gloria then added some reassurance for the politician and stated: "It looks really nice on you, don't worry."
