WHY ISN'T MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT UK ON TV TONIGHT?

Married at First Sight UK fans will have to wait a little longer for their next dose of drama as the reality TV show will not air tonight.

The Channel 4 dating series returned last month with a fresh batch of singletons walking down the aisle before ever meeting their significant other.

There have been plenty of bust-ups and tears so far on the journey to happily ever after, but viewers won't be able to tune into the show tonight due to a schedule shake-up.

Instead of Married at First Sight UK at 9pm on E4, there will instead be a Gogglebox double-bill.

Channel 4's description confirms that MAFS UK will next air on Sunday, so fans will have a little while to wait to get their drama fix.

Digital Spy has reached out to representatives for Channel 4 for comment.

The schedule change comes after a huge bombshell was dropped during the show as six latecomer singles joined the cast.

Abi, April, John, Leisha, Leo, and Reiss all joined the show while the original cast were in their honeymoon phases.

The newcomers have wasted no time spicing up the series, with one groom being accused of being in a relationship with a TOWIE star before going on the show "behind her back".

The Daily Mail reports that before Reiss and Leisha wed on Tuesday's episode, he was previously dating reality TV star Dani Imbery before MAFS UK began.

The publication reports that his appearance on the show has left Dani feeling "hurt" and "humiliated" after allegedly believing he had gone travelling.

He arrived on MAFS UK saying he was looking for the "love of his life", marrying Leisha, who was on the hunt for a family-oriented partner.

Speaking to the publication, Reiss explained: "Dani is a great girl, but it didn't work out for us romantically. I will always think a lot of her and wish her the best, but when I signed up for Married At First Sight, I was single and ready for commitment."

Married at First Sight UK airs on E4 in the UK. Married at First Sight Australia airs on Nine Network in Australia and E4 in the UK.
