McDonald's has announced a major revamp of their iconic Happy Meals. Known for their vibrant red and yellow boxes adorned with a smile, the fast food giant is set to introduce a dramatic change from Wednesday, November 5.
The first-ever blank Happy Meal box will be introduced, designed to stimulate children's creativity and encourage them to express their emotions.
This initiative is part of a partnership with BBC Children in Need, where McDonald's has replaced the traditional Happy Meal box with a limited-edition white design, as part of a mental health awareness campaign aimed at fostering meaningful conversations between children and their families.

These 'draw how you feel meal' boxes will be available across all McDonald's outlets. The move follows new research which reveals that 42% of UK children aged 5-10 struggle to discuss their feelings with adults, but nearly three quarters (73%) find it easier to express their emotions through drawing.
According to McDonald's research, 88% of parents find it easier to talk about feelings with their children when engaged in some form of creative activity, with 47% stating that such activities help them bond and have more open conversations with their kids.
Nearly four million limited-edition 'draw how you feel meal' boxes and crayons will be available from Wednesday, 5 November to Tuesday, 18 November in all UK and ROI restaurants, subject to availability, reports the Mirror.
