TARTAN ARMY HAVE DRIVEN ME TO INSANITY ALREADY BUT THE PARTY'S BACK ON AT IMPRESSIVE FAN ZONE

The previous night it was 'no Scotland, no party'... last night it was the sound of bagpipes ringing around my head as I finally tried to get some sleep. No joy.

The Tartan Army have driven me to insanity in the space of just three days. Quite impressive really.

The chaos went through the night on Thursday and the scenes were bordering on the ridiculous.

Thousands of Scots packed out the Marienplatz until the early hours in a party to end all parties - and this was before a ball had even been kicked.

The following morning you could feel a slight - SLIGHT - calmness in the air as hangovers were brushed off.

That didn't last for long though and soon enough the party was back on as we headed to the fan zone.

The arena was truly impressive and from as early at 2pm the place was packed out around the huge stage.

There was a great band playing to the early punters, but the crowd were more interested in singing their usual anthems.

The best moment came when the musicians tried to get involved as they cried: 'No Scotland, No fun!'

I liked that. I hope it's that tune I have stuck in my head tonight as I try to nod off, just for a change.
