‘SHE WOULDN’T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER’: FLORENCE PUGH’S THUNDERBOLTS STUNT LEAVES CAST IN AWE

Thunderbolts director Jake Schreier has praised Florence Pugh’s fearless commitment to her stunt work, calling her performance “insane”.

The 29-year-old returns as Yelena Belova in the upcoming Marvel ensemble film, which features a high-stakes stunt sequence that left even the crew stunned.

Pugh jumped from the second tallest building in the world, refusing to use a stunt double for the dangerous scene.

Speaking at the film’s European premiere on April 22, Schreier revealed that Pugh insisted on doing the scene herself, despite concerns.

“They said no plenty of times, but she wouldn’t take no for an answer,” he said.

“It’s all credit to her—it really elevated everything.” Thunderbolts will be released in cinemas worldwide on May 2.
