Beloved period drama Downton Abbey wrapped up last month and now UK fans will be able to watch it from the comfort of their own homes.
All of the usual suspects, apart from the late Maggie Smith who potrayed Violet Crawley, returned for the eagerly anticipated third film, Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale last month and thankfully, it did not disappoint.
But fear not if you missed out on seeing it on the big screen as Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has confirmed that Downton Abbey 3 will be ready to stream in the UK on digital home release to rent or buy from Monday, October 13.
US fans were treated to the heartwarming period drama just two weeks after it was released in cinemas from Tuesday, September 30, where it became available to buy or rent on platforms including Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV.
Nevertheless, when it does land in the UK, it sounds like there are going to be extra features for viewers to enjoy that cinema-goers weren't given access to.
Universal Pictures shared in a statement: "Raise a glass and relive moments of refined humour, luxury fashion, and heartfelt conversation with over one hour of exclusive content when purchased at participating retailers, including behind-the-scenes featurettes exploring the grandeur of high society settings, a cast celebration of this unforgettable conclusion, and much more."
