PETE DOHERTY IS A DADDY AGAIN! ROCKER AND WIFE WELCOME FIRST CHILD
The Libertines star Pete Doherty has welcomed his third child to the world.
The rocker's wife Katia de Vidas took to social media on Sunday to announce the news, after she gave birth to their baby girl - who is their first child together.
Pete is already a father to son Astile, 19, with singer Lisa Moorish and daughter Aisling, 11, from a former relationship with South African model Lindi Hingston.
In announcing the news, Katia shared a picture of their daughter's wrist band from hospital, naming the Bloc Obstétrical department, and then an image of the little girl's impressive head of hair while cuddling her mum.
The singer originally announced that he and Katia are expecting a child while performing at a gig in Strasbourg last December.
Back in April, Pete and Katia posed for sweet pictures showing them kissing and cradling her baby bump before Katia cosied up to Pete, smiling at the camera where she also flashed her blossoming bump while her husband lovingly kissed it.
An excited Katia captioned her post: 'Stockton on threes' as they prepare to become a family of three. Pete and Katia revealed the gender and due date of their first child together back in March.
During an interview with French Magazine Society, Pete and Puta Madres bandmate Katia confirmed they were expecting a baby girl in May.
The Normandy based couple said they're forming 'a solid and protective clan'.
Multiple sources confirmed the news to MailOnline after the gig, but there was no mention of the news on his or Katia's social media.
A source said: 'They were happily talking about the news with fans after the show who waited behind to speak to them.'
Pete married Katia, who performs in his band, in a private ceremony at a lavish French retreat in September 2021 - just two days after confirming their engagement.
The couple wed at the Domaine Saint Clair hotel in the French city of Etretat - their home for the last three years - while The Libertines and the couple's band Puta Madres provided music.
Pete who has been clean of heroin for three and a half years, has settled down with his Puta Madres bandmate Katia in France after ditching his bad boy lifestyle.
He shot to fame in the mid-2000s as the frontman for indie band The Libertines, but found nationwide attention when he dated supermodel Kate Moss.
Pete met Kate Moss at her 31st birthday bash in January 2005, and he declared soon after that he'd 'really found love.'
Their turbulent romance briefly ended when Pete failed to complete a stint in rehab in Arizona, USA, with Kate saying at the time she has 'various personal issues I need to address.'
He even drew a portrait of himself and Kate using crayons and his own blood in 2005. Pete also famously scrawled 'I love Kate 4 eva' on the windscreen of his Jaguar after leaving court following a drug-related offence.
