The Ocean's 11 universe is expanding. The franchise, which already includes Ocean's Eleven (2001), Ocean's Twelve (2004) and Ocean's Thirteen (2007), all fronted by George Clooney, not to mention the Sandra Bullock spin-off Ocean's Eight (2018), is in the process of developing two more films.
The first, Ocean's Fourteen, will be a direct sequel to the iconic Noughties trilogy. Confirming his involvement, Clooney told E! News: "We just got the budget approved at Warner Brothers and we're trying to set up… It's just scheduling. So, just setting a start date for us. [We'll] probably start in about 9 or 10 months, shooting."
Asked if he was excited to get the band back together, Clooney replied: "Yeah. Brad [Pitt], Matt [Damon], Don [Cheadle], and Julia [Roberts]. I had dinner last night with Julia. You know, they're all still really good friends, and so, the chance to work together again will be fun."
Over the years, several cast members had expressed their interest in returning for a sequel. During an interview with Screen Rant in 2024, Matt Damon said, "Yeah. [Laughs] I guess it'll be up to if we can get the whole group together and get a good script.
"We'll see where it goes, but we haven't heard much at this point. But we're obviously open to it. We love all those guys in that whole group, and it would be really fun, obviously."

As for the second movie, the unnamed project has been described as an Ocean's Eleven prequel, with Bradley Cooper and Margot Robbie signed on to star (via Variety).
Lee Isaac Chung, the award-winning filmmaker behind Twisters (2024), is attached to direct. Currently, details surrounding the film are limited, however, it has been confirmed that Carrie Solomon is penning the screenplay.
Robbie, who was first linked to the project in 2022, is slated to produce the film alongside LuckyChap Entertainment, which she co-founded with her husband, Tom Ackerley, and Sophia Kerr. Back in 2023, Robbie's publicist told People magazine that the prequel would be "an original Ocean's film set in the '60s".
While Ryan Gosling was originally cast alongside Robbie, with the pair expected to play Danny Ocean's (Clooney) parents, it looks like Cooper may have been brought in to replace him.
