MISSED IT AT THE CINEMA? A MINECRAFT MOVIE, WARFARE AND 3 OTHER RECENT MOVIES YOU CAN NOW WATCH AT HOME

It can be hard enough keeping on top of every new movie released in cinemas, let alone when those same movies are available to watch from the comfort of your own home.

That's where Digital Spy comes in to help.

We've delved into the release calendar to pick out five movies that have now had their digital release in the UK, meaning they're available to buy or rent today if you missed them at the cinema.

A Minecraft Movie

A Minecraft Movie has been an absolute sensation, grossing more than $900 million worldwide to make it the biggest Hollywood release of the year to date.

The long-awaited adaptation of the popular video game sees four misfits (played by Jason Momoa, Danielle Brooks, Emma Myers and Sebastian Hansen) pulled through a portal into the Overworld. There, they must team up with expert crafter Steve (Jack Black) to find their way back to the real world.

Warfare

One of the most intense movies of the year, Warfare is the latest movie from Civil War and Annihilation filmmaker Alex Garland, and boasts an all-star cast including Kit Connor, Joseph Quinn and Will Poulter.

Garland co-wrote and co-directed Warfare with Ray Mendoza, and it's based on Mendoza's real-life experiences during the Iraq War as a US Navy SEAL when he and his platoon came under heavy fire during the Battle of Ramadi.

Snow White

Snow White might not have had a magical box-office run, taking just over $200 million after a mauling from critics, but now you can see whether it deserved to do better.

Disney's live-action remake saw Rachel Zegler take on the iconic role of Snow White, while Gal Gadot played the Evil Queen. Both stars got to deliver brand-new songs that were written especially for the new version of Snow White, so it's not entirely a shot-for-shot remake of the classic animation.

Drop

The year's most unpredictable thriller Drop loses none of its surprise on the small screen, and will still likely put you off dating apps.

Directed by Happy Death Day's Christopher Landon, Drop sees widowed mother Violet (Meghann Fahy) head on her first date in years with charming photographer Henry (Brandon Sklenar). But shortly into the date, Violet is terrorised by an anonymous person who wants her to kill Henry – or her child dies.

Flow

Watch now: Prime Video | Apple TV

Flow might have been available to watch at home for a few weeks now, but we couldn't resist including the brilliant animation, which retains a near-perfect rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Set shortly after a great flood, Flow follows a cat who tries to survive along with other animals as the water level rises. It deservedly won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature and will surely end up on your best movies of 2025 list.
