THE REVENGE CLUB CAST IN FULL FROM LINE OF DUTY LEGEND TO SHETLAND STAR

The Revenge Club has just arrived on Paramount Plus and the "chaotic" thriller is based on the novel The Othello Club by J.D. Pennington. An official trailer was released a couple of days before the series dropped and it unveiled the stars, including a Line of Duty legend, in their latest roles.

The six-part series has been described as "darkly comic" and it follows six strangers who meet at a divorce support group and they are all reeling from betrayal. After forming an unlikely bond, they come up with a wild plan to sabotage the lives of those who broke their hearts.

The synopsis for the star-studded series continues: "What starts off as a cathartic outlet quickly spirals into something far more chaotic, as their retribution escalates from petty pranks - forged exam papers, tarot cons, and rat invasions - to deadly accidents." The line between justice and malice begins to blur as the group's plans grow more extravagant.

Paramount Plus said: "The Revenge Club is a wickedly fun revenge thriller that dares to ask: what if getting even felt better than falling in love?" Fleabag director Tim Kirkby was in charge of the project along with Daniel O’Hara, and Margot Gavan Duffy as producer.
