ANGELINA JOLIE'S FORGOTTEN SPY THRILLER HAS JUST BEEN ADDED TO PRIME VIDEO

Angelina Jolie's forgotten spy thriller Salt has just become available to watch on Prime Video.

The 2010 movie sees the Oscar-winner play a CIA operative who goes on the run and tries to clear her name after being accused of being a Russian sleeper agent.

Fans who want to catch it or fancy a rewatch can now stream it on Prime Video after the film was added to the service in the UK and Ireland on Sunday.

Salt gained a largely positive response from critics upon its release, and sits on a 62% score on Rotten Tomatoes, while the movie made over $293 million at the global box office.

The addition comes after Jolie's 2002 flop romcom Life or Something Like It has become an unexpected hit after being added to Netflix.

The film follows a TV reporter who goes on a voyage of self-discovery, having believed that she has the perfect life and getting some home truths.

Meanwhile, Jolie recently starred in biopic Maria, which sees the actor portray the late opera singer Maria Callas.

Earlier this year, the star opened up about the challenges of training to sing opera live, with the movie using a mix of her own voice and recordings of Callas.

"We hold a lot in our bodies, right?" Jolie told Digital Spy. "A lot of the sounds we make or sounds we can't make because we're protecting ourselves. So I think the hardest thing for me was opening up and letting go and kind of finding my voice.

"[I realised] how much I was holding in over the many years of life that we all have and affect us, and we don't realise that, maybe even I had lost my voice in one way."

Salt is available to stream on Prime Video in the UK and Ireland.
