BGT HIT WITH 'FIX' CLAIMS AFTER VIGGO VENN WINS

Britain's Got Talent 2023 finally drew to a dramatic close on Sunday night, as Norwegian entertainer, Viggo Ven, was announced as the winner.

Viggo beat dancer Lillianna Clifton, who came second, and Cillian O'Connor, who was third, to be declared the winner of the show, meaning he will perform in front of King Charles, and other members of the Royal Family, at the Royal Variety Performance on November 30 2023. He also scooped the prize money of £250.

But some show fans were left aghast as the shirt-ripping, high-vis vest wearing act's name was called out by Ant and Dec, and they quickly went on to slam the show as a 'fix'.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: "Absolute fix today in Britain's got talent final how that man with the high vis act one I do not know. Absolute calamity that such a stupid act as that has won. That opera singer, the last act, was so good that I thought he would win I'm very disappointed of today's results."

Another tweeted: "Nah Britain’s got talent is the biggest fix #bgt "

Someone else said: "Tonight's show, Britain's Got Talent was a disgrace. The Norwegian who supposedly won it, has no talent, wasn't funny, and was embarrassing. It was a fix."

Another person vented: "I don’t wanna be that guy BUT it has to be said. Britain’s Got Talent is a clear fix!!!!!! #BritainsGotTalent "

Even show presenters Ant and Dec seemed bemused at Viggo being named the winner of the show as they took to Twitter to post a photo with him and said congratulations.

They wrote: "Let's give it up one more time for your #BGT 2023 winner @ViggoVenn," but it was the laughing and high-vis vest emojis that suggested that they were as shocked as anyone else.

Their tweet continued: "What a series, a huge congratulations to all the incredible contestants who took part."

There were some positive comments for Viggo too, with one person tweeting: "CONGRATULATIONS To @ViggoVenn on WINNING Britain's Got Talent 2023. You've been a joy to watch and your performances are very entertaining. You have a bright future ahead of you Viggo. Look forward to seeing you at The Royal Variety Show."

Another said: "Viggo Venn winning Britain's got talent is absolutely peak," as someone else wrote: "Viggo venn winning britain’s got talent is the funniest thing ever."

Sunday night's show saw the final acts; Musa Motha, Amy Lou, Viggo Venn, Olivia Lynes, Ghetto Kids, Travis George, Malakai Bayoh, Duo Odyssey, Cillian O'Connor, Tonikaku and Lillianna Clifton, go head-to-head to be crowned the champion.

But only one could be successful, with Viggo receiving the most public votes and being crowned the winner.

He himself looked shocked at the outcome, as he ran around the stage in jubilation - and knocked Ant down in the process.
