WICKED: FOR GOOD IS NOW AVAILABLE TO WATCH AT HOME WITH UNFORGETTABLE EXTRA FOOTAGE

Wicked: For Good is still playing in cinemas, but it's also just become available to watch at home. The second part of Elphaba and Glinda's journey is available from digital outlets such as Prime Video and AppleTV.

To mark the occasion, Digital Spy can debut an exclusive clip from the "unforgettable" 50-minute making-of documentary, which you can watch right now above.

The documentary includes unseen footage and new interviews, with the digital release also including other bonus features such as featurettes focusing on the new songs for our heroines, director Jon M Chu and the film's climax.

You can also watch the film with the director's commentary, or as the sing-a-long edition. But perhaps most excitingly, there are seven deleted scenes included, so you're getting even more time in the magical land of Oz.

Without giving away too much, these deleted scenes range from a musical montage of the Munchkins creating the iconic yellow bricks to a segment where Elphaba returns to her childhood home, so there's plenty to choose from.

For those wanting to grab the film physically on either DVD, Blu-ray or 4K, the US release date is 20 January. The UK release hasn't been confirmed at the current time, but it likely won't be too far behind.

The film, a sequel to the smash-hit from 2024, concludes the journey of Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) and Glinda (Ariana Grande) following the breakdown of their friendship, with the pair continuing to quarrel over the future of Oz.

In Digital Spy's review of Wicked: For Good, we wrote: "The first movie expanded and improved on the musical. The sequel – or continuation, whatever you want to call it – does the first bit, but rarely does the second on a consistent enough basis to truly fly.

"For some fans, it might be enough to get more of Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande's excellent performances that confirm they were perfect casting for the roles. For others, though, Wicked: For Good won't prove to be quite as wonderful as the first movie."

Wicked: For Good is still playing in cinemas, and can be bought or rented digitally now.
