You may have only just got over Alan Carr's shock triumph in The Celebrity Traitors, but there's no rest for the wicked as the wildly-popular BBC reality series is back with its fourth season. Best of all, it's not that far away!
Following the comedian's victory over Nick Mohammed and David Olusoga in a tense endgame, a post-show teaser revealed that the next instalment of the main series would be coming in 2026.
We now know that it's coming at the first possible opportunity next year, with the fourth season premiering on Thursday, 1 January at 8pm on BBC One. The next part will follow on Friday, 2 January, with both episodes streaming on BBC iPlayer after airing.
The second episode will air at the same time as its predecessor, though the schedule for the remainder of the season is yet to be disclosed. It has been noted the season will consist of 12 parts, so January could be a Traitors-filled month!
Each episode will be followed by an instalment of spin-off series The Traitors: Uncloaked, with Ed Gamble and a variety of guests discussing the night's action. The first episode will air on BBC Two, before reverting to BBC One for the rest of the season.

With Claudia Winkleman returning as host, the fourth season will see a whopping 22 contestants head to the Scottish Highlands for a chance to win a maximum cash prize of £120,000, though there will be many obstacles in the way.
"Expect even more twists, turns, secrets, epic missions, deception, banishments and, of course, murders aplenty" reads the logline for the series, which has been billed as the "ultimate reality game of trust and treachery".

The announcement comes just after the huge success for spin-off series The Celebrity Traitors, with the first iteration of the show being a record-breaking hit for the BBC as it secured the biggest on-demand audience of the year so far (via RadioTimes.com).
Such was its popularity, a second season has already been greenlit by the broadcaster, with rumours circling about which famous faces could be heading to the iconic castle for a chance at winning a cash prize for charity.
The Traitors season 4 premieres on BBC One on New Year's Day at 8pm. Seasons 1-3 and The Celebrity Traitors are streaming on BBC iPlayer.
