KELVIN FLETCHER TO STAR IN FARM-BASED REALITY SHOW WITH WIFE AND KIDS

Kelvin Fletcher is set to return to ITV seven years after he left Emmerdale - with his own reality show.

The actor, 39, will give his fans a glimpse at his family's life on his farm, with new series Fletcher’s Family Farm.

Former Strictly Come Dancing winner Kelvin and his wife Liz will welcome viewers into the home they share with their four children, Marnie, six, Milo, four, and one-year-old twin boys, Maximus and Mateusz.

Taking to Instagram at the weekend, he wrote: 'WE ARE BACK!!! A brand new ITV1 series this Autumn bringing you inside our lives as we celebrate and explore this wonderful farming life!

'With more animals, more laughs, more mistakes and even more children! This adventure really has only just begun.

'We can’t wait to share it with you! Let the fun begin!

'Daisybeck lands brand new series seeing Kelvin Fletcher returning to ITV.

'Kelvin Fletcher is to return to ITV with the commission of brand-new series Fletcher’s Family Farm.

'The documentary-style series, set at the farm in the Peak District is being made by Leeds based eOne indie Daisybeck Studios.

'The 8 x 60 series has been commissioned by Leanne Clarke (Commissioner, Entertainment) for Weekend Daytime for ITV and Paul Mortimer (ITV Director of Reality and Acquisitions) for primetime for ITV Be – the first co-commission between the two channels.'

The documentary-style series will be set on his 120-acre Peak District farm, which he moved to from Manchester in 2021.

It is set to air in the daytime on weekends on ITV and will be primetime for ITVBe.

Kelvin previously starred in BBC series Kelvin's Big Farming Adventure which saw him learning to run a farm, following in the footsteps of his Emmerdale character Andy Sugden.

Kelvin previously insisted he does not lead a showbiz lifestyle having moved onto his farm.

The screen star told the Mirror: 'It may seem like we have a showbizzy life, but every top I’ve got has baby sick on the shoulder.

'That’s just the way it is, as any parent will tell you.

'There have been so many highlights this year.

'We’re still only in our second year on the farm with a lot to learn but it’s great.'

Kelvin had planned to move his family to America but the pandemic put a stop to that.

The star insists his family have been welcomed by the local farming community and Kelvin and his loved ones have clearly embraced the lifestyle as they continue to document their exploits on the dedicated Instagram page.

The family have even written a new book, Fletcher On The Farm, which was out in November last year, as well as an audiobook version.
