Vincent D'Onofrio hasn't ruled out a return to Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
The actor may be best known for his role as the Kingpin in various Marvel shows, but before that he played the New York City Police Detective Robert Goren on the police procedural drama.
The Law & Order spin-offs Special Victims Unit and Organized Crime are still going strong, while the original series was recently revived after a decade off air.
When asked at ICCCon if he'd return to play Goren in one of the three shows, D'Onofrio said (via ComicBook.com): "That's a question for [producer] Dick Wolf. But c'mon, what am I, an idiot? It's a great part... Look, Dick, seven, eight, nine episodes would be great."
The actor then shared an article containing his comments to his Twitter, and added: "This is definitely true. Up to you fans and Mr Wolf. I'd love for Kate [Kathryn Erbe] and I to return.
"People are definitely into this. When we all finally sort all these important issues with the studios maybe it's time to think about this seriously. If the boss @WolfEnt is into it of course. Could be fun."
Norberto Barba, who worked as a producer on Law & Order: Criminal Intent and now works on Special Victims Unit, tweeted that working with D'Onofrio and Erbe was "a highlight of my career" and it would be "a no-brainer to bring this show back", to which the actor agreed.
One thing D'Onofrio is definitely returning for is the Daredevil revival series Born Again, following the titular hero and the Kingpin making appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe across various projects.
Whether the formerly Netflix-exclusive shows are canon to the MCU is questionable, but maybe Born Again will give us definitive answers.
