MAN VS BABY RELEASE DATE, CAST AND EPISODES AS ROWAN ATKINSON RETURNS TO SCREENS

Man vs Baby acts as a follow-up series to Rowan Atkinson's hilarious Man vs Bee on Netflix. The comedy series was written by Atkinson himself, alongside William Davies.

Blackadder star Atkinson reprises his role as Trevor Bingley, but this time, he has taken on a more relaxed job as a school caretaker. However, the job proves to be much more challenging than he originally believed.

Following the chaos of Man vs Bee, Trevor finds himself at the centre of another potential disaster when a real-life baby acting as Baby Jesus is left behind at the school nativity, and fans have already been treated to a sneak peek.

Trevor then finds himself with an unexpected companion over the Christmas break as he takes it upon himself to look after the infant. Fans of the Mr Bean star were delighted when news of the new series was announced back in December 2024.

Netflix has listed the series as part of its 2025 festive slate, and fans were treated to a first look in October 2025. Here is all you need to know about the new series.

The series is scheduled to premiere in full on December 11 on Netflix.

The streamer usually releases new titles at midnight in the US, or 8am in the UK.

Fans will easily be able to binge all of the episodes in one sitting.

The series is made up of just four 30-minute episodes, the equivalent of a feature film if watched back-to-back.

This festive special is much shorter than Man vs Bee, which was made up of nine episodes in total.

The official synopsis reads: "After a job looking after a high-tech mansion ended in disaster thanks to an irritating insect in Man vs Bee, Trevor Bingley has left the stressful world of housesitting for the quieter life of a school caretaker.

"That is, until a lucrative offer to look after a luxury London penthouse over Christmas proves too tempting to resist.

"But on the last day of term, when no one comes to collect the Baby Jesus from the school nativity, Trevor finds himself with another undersized and very unexpected companion.

"With a penthouse to protect and a baby to burp, will Trevor be able to have the calm Christmas he hopes for, or will festivities descend into chaos?"

The published cast list for Man vs Baby includes Rowan Atkinson as Trevor Bingeley and Alanah Bloor as Maddy.

Maddy also appeared in Man vs Bee, but the role has since been recast, as India Fowler was the original actress.

Atkinson is a 70-year-old English actor, comedian and writer known for his iconic roles in Blackadder, Mr Bean and Johnny English.

Bloor is a British actress from Cornwall whose breakthrough role was in the TV series Sandokan.

Sunetra Sarker also stars as Georgia Hakopian, with Ashley Jensen as Janet.

Man vs Baby airs on Netflix on December 11.
