Fans can expect the blonde bombshell to cover everything from relationships to parenting to gossip and fashion with her open, honest, and fun discussions.

Now, a source close to the show has given the Express an exclusive insight into how the broadcaster feels about the exciting news. They told us: "Vanessa is ecstatic, buzzing, delighted, and can't wait to get stuck in. She's having the time of her life!"

TV sources say that Vanessa is tipped to take some of the Loose Women audience when it goes down from 52 weeks to 30 next year. On her TV Choice Award nomination, the broadcaster told the Daily Mail that she was "absolutely thrilled".

It comes after Vanessa snatched the gong for Best Talk Show in July at the National Television Awards, beating The Graham Norton Show. Her talk show returned to the airwaves in March 2025 after being pulled from Channel 5 in 2011.

Speaking about her exciting return, Vanessa told ITN: "I cannot wait to get started on this sparkling adventure with Channel 5. This show is all about YOU - your stories, your opinions, your emotions, and your triumphs.

"Television's never been so real, honest, or unpredictable. Life isn't perfect, so let's not pretend it is - let's help each other out, have a giggle, and make every show a conversation worth having, so kick off your shoes and come and join me for lunch, relax with a bit of me time, and let's have a ball!"

It comes after the broadcaster shared her admiration for The Great British Bake Off judge Dame Prue Leith and Loose Women panellist Gloria Hunniford, both 85, for not slowing down because of their age.

Revealing why Prue has been the top guest so far on her eponymous Channel 5 lunchtime talk show, Vanessa told BANG Showbiz at the National Television Awards: "Prue Leith was pretty good.

"She was funny, she's feisty, she says all sorts of unexpected things - She's great!" When asked if the broadcaster would like to still be working in TV ain her 80, she enthusiastically replied: "Yes, definitely!"
