Steven Universe combos

The shields that Steven Universe leaves behind with his side-special and up-special are integral parts of his combo game in MultiVersus. He can bounce opponents off of these shields with his aerials in order to perform extended combos.

Otherwise, Steven’s down-air and aerial down-special are solid combo starters. Once he knocks opponents into the air, he can follow up with up-airs and up-specials.

In addition, by creating a platform with his up-special, Steven can refresh his aerial options, allowing him to more aggressively chase opponents and kill them vertically with a powerful up-special.

Steven Universe perks

Perk Effect
Bounce Bubble Hitstuns are extended and the velocity of getting knocked into a wall or shield increases.
Green Thumb Watermelon Steven gets larger and does more damage the longer he survives.

Steven benefits from the Defense perk Slippery Customer, which improves his dodge invulnerability window, and the Utility perk Triple Jump, which gives him an extra midair jump after he hits an opponent.

In addition, the Offense perk Collateral Damage functions well with Steven’s kit, since it deals one extra damage to enemies who collide with a wall or floor. As a result, this perk increases Steven’s damage output when he intentionally hits enemies into his shields.
