MUST-DO RIDES AT WALT DISNEY STUDIOS PARIS (2025)

Thinking of skipping Walt Disney Studios Park to save a few Euros?

That’s fair!

But here’s why strongly advise against it.

Yes, the park’s in a bit of a limbo right now. Frozen Land is still under construction (opening spring 2026), and some areas feel like they’re waiting for their glow-up. But don’t let that put you off.

Some of the best rides at Disneyland Paris live here—especially if you’re into Marvel, Pixar, or anything that drops you from a great height (looking at you, Tower of Terror).

As a couple without kids, we genuinely love Studios.

Callum especially—classic Disney isn’t really his thing, so the big thrills and movie tie-ins here are much more up his street.

We always get 2-park tickets, and somehow end up spending way more time in the Studios than we plan to.

Here are the rides at Walt Disney Studios Paris that are 100% worth squeezing in.

Best Rides at Walt Disney Studios Paris (2025)

We visited in June 2025 (still getting over the Disney blues), so also have updated info on height restrictions, if Premier Access is available, and if Single Rider is available too.

Avengers Assemble: Flight Force

1.20m   Premier Access  Single Rider

Best for: Thrill-seekers and Marvel fans who don’t mind going upside-down

Join the queue if: It’s under 30 minutes.

A reimagined version of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, this one launches you straight into a high-speed mission with Iron Man and Captain Marvel. Expect loops, corkscrews, and total darkness—plus some very loud music. It’s one of the most intense rides in either park.

We managed it three times in a row before I genuinely had a headache and had to throw the towel in. Callum managed it two more times without me—rude not to, really, when the queue drops to 5 minutes during the parade in Disneyland Park.

Bonus: it’s also one of the most accessible rides for plus-size visitors at Disneyland Paris.

Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure

No height limit   Premier Access   Single Rider

Best for: Families, Marvel fans, and anyone who likes a bit of friendly competition

Join the queue if: It’s under 20 minutes.

I went on this for the first time in May, and it was so much better than I expected. I was actually out of breath by the time we got off—which says a lot for a ride that doesn’t move much!

You’ll pop on your 3D goggles and sling webs to catch runaway Spider-Bots, flinging your arms around like you’ve just been recruited by the Avengers.

It’s surprisingly physical, especially if you’re trying to beat your group’s high score (which, let’s be honest, you absolutely are).

We did it during Magic Hour, but we’ve also seen the queue drop to 10 minutes in the middle of the day, so don’t feel like you have to rope drop this one.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

1.02m   Premier Access No Single Rider

Best for: Brave kids, teens, and adults who love a proper stomach-drop

Join the queue if: It’s under 30 minutes.

Still my absolute favourite ride in all of Disneyland Paris. It’s creepy, dramatic, and completely unpredictable—no two drops are ever quite the same.

You’ll check into a haunted Hollywood hotel, creep through the cobwebbed lobby, and then… well, let’s just say you won’t be staying on the ground floor for long.

My 9-year-old niece did it for the first time this year (and survived to tell the tale), but there were kids much younger than her in the queue.

So if your little one’s tall enough and likes a thrill, they might surprise you.

Theming is spot on, and the cast members often play up their roles—so don’t be shocked if someone tries to spook you in the queue. It’s all part of the fun.

Ratatouille: The Adventure

No height limit   Premier Access   Single Rider

Best for: All ages, especially families and Pixar fans

Join the queue if: It’s under 30 minutes.

A trackless dark ride that shrinks you down to rat-size and sends you scurrying through Gusteau’s kitchen with Remy. It used to be in 3D, but sometime between our January 2024 trip and our June 2025 visit, the glasses quietly disappeared—and I’ll admit, I was worried it might ruin the experience.

It didn’t. Still just as fun, still brilliantly immersive.

That said, if you’re prone to motion sickness, be warned—even though it’s a smooth ride, the spinning and darting around can throw you off a bit.

My top tip? Ride it in the morning—ideally during Extra Magic Hour if you’ve got it. The scents that are released throughout the ride (like soup or bread) are freshly filled early in the day, and it makes a huge difference. We rode it again that afternoon and couldn’t smell a thing.

Flying Carpets Over Agrabah

No height limit   No Premier Access   No Single Rider

Best for: Small children and those who like a good view

Join the queue if: It’s under 10 minutes.

It’s basically Dumbo with a different skin—a nice gap filler if you’re waiting on a show or just want something low-key.

Top tip: Don’t let a child get a hand on the height control in the front. We did, and Callum nearly threw up as it does just drop. Not our finest flying moment, but it still got a laugh.

Crush’s Coaster

1.07m   Premier Access   Single Rider

Best for: Older kids, teens, and adults who want a hidden thrill

Join the queue if: It’s under 60 minutes.

I hadn’t been on this ride in a few years, but thanks to my recent weight loss, I was finally able to give it another go—and wow. I remembered it being a kids’ ride. It isn’t.

This thing is fast, spinny, and full of surprises, especially in the dark. I can see exactly why it’s one of the most popular rides in the park.

You’ll still be queueing over an hour even during Magic Hour, so I wouldn’t rush to rope drop it. Everyone runs straight there.

If the queue dips below 60 minutes later in the day, just jump in—or consider buying a Single Premier Access (around €21) if it’s high on your list.

Also… there’s a brief outdoor section. I wasn’t expecting the speed, and let’s just say some colourful language escaped without warning—to the delight of the crowd gathered outside watching their friends whizz past. Oops.

Cars Quatre Roues Rallye

0.81m   No Premier Access   No Single Rider

Best for: Younger kids and anyone who likes spinning rides

Join the queue if: It’s under 15 minutes.

Way faster than I expected. My sister and I went in one car, while Callum and my niece took the other—and we must’ve looked absolutely ridiculous spinning around like that.

But we were so glad we gave it a go. It’s short, fun, and has a bit more kick than it looks.

There are so many great Disneyland Paris Snacks to enjoy around this area! Factor that in before deciding to go on the rides.

RC Racer

1.20m   No Premier Access   Single Rider

Best for: Thrill-seekers who love pirate ship-style rides

Join the queue if: It’s under 25 minutes.

I’ll be honest—I’ve never done this one. I hate pirate ship-style rides (just looking at them makes my stomach flip). But Callum and my niece gave it a big thumbs-up. It’s short, sweet, and packs a punch for such a simple concept.

You’ll swing back and forth on a giant U-shaped track, going higher and higher each time until you feel like you might just launch off the end. If that’s your thing, you’ll love it.

Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop

0.81m  No Premier Access   Single Rider

Best for: Kids 6+, anyone easing into drop rides

Join the queue if: It’s under 30 minutes.

I can handle Tower of Terror, no problem. But for some reason, this one turned my legs to jelly. I didn’t realise how high up it actually goes until we were dangling at the top, waiting for the drop.

Really good ride though—gentler than Tower, but still gives you that stomach-flip feeling.

Top tip: Sit in the first row of seats (as soon as you walk through the gate) and you’ll get a great view of World of Frozen as it’s being built.

It’s the best sneak peek you’ll get in the whole park!

Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin

No height limit   No Premier Access   No Single Rider

Best for: Younger kids and anyone needing a low-key breather

Join the queue if: It’s under 15 minutes.

This one’s a gentle spinner—Slinky Dog races around in loops, building up a bit of speed but nothing too wild. It’s ideal if you’ve got little ones in tow, or just need a break from all the big thrill rides.

You can fit four adults in one cart, which makes it a surprisingly good group ride when you’re trying to stay together (or just want a giggle). We usually hop on if we’ve got time to kill before a show or we’re in need of a reset.

It’s not ground-breaking, but it’s cute, cheerful, and rarely has much of a queue.

Cars ROAD TRIP

No height limit   Premier Access   No Single Rider

Best for: Families, tired legs, and anyone who loves the Cars films

Join the queue if: It’s under 15 minutes.

This is a great one for resting your feet—but it’s more eventful than you’d think. You’ll hop on a tram for a scenic “road trip” through the Cars universe, complete with a very …well, let’s just say there is a surprise in the middle!

It’s not a thrill ride, but it’s definitely not boring either. The theming is fun, the ride’s smooth, and it’s a great breather between more intense attractions.

We often slot it in when we need to sit down for ten minutes but don’t want to waste time doing nothing.

As you’re walking to this, be sure to get a picture with the Toy Story Walls- they are one of Disneyland Paris’s best secrets.

Final Thoughts

I was originally going to call this post “The Best Rides at Walt Disney Studios Paris”… but I quickly realised—they’re all the best. So here we are.

I know the park gets a bit of stick for being under construction or not as pretty as its neighbour, but I love it, and I think you will too. It’s full of thrills, surprises, and rides you won’t find anywhere else at Disneyland Paris.

Callum prefers Studios, my niece couldn’t stop talking about it, and I somehow left with a sore arm from web-slinging. If that’s not a successful day, I don’t know what is.

So if you’re thinking about skipping it—don’t. Add it to your plans, grab that Park Hopper ticket if you can, and thank me later when you’re freefalling in an abandoned hotel lift with a massive grin on your face.
